What is Foundations?

Our foundations program is designed to give you a comprehensive overview of the movement techniques and concepts used in CrossFit.  Your Foundations Month begins with  3 one-hour one-on-one sessions with one of our lead coaches. Included in the Foundations Program is a COMPLIMENTARY one-month unlimited membership that begins on the first day of your first foundations session.

Also included is a Nutrition Consultation** and a new member t-shirt/tank top***.

Why is the Foundations Program Important?

It is our belief that proper form and movement is key to performing some of the complex movements required in Crossfit. Your foundations program is designed to take you through the fundamentals of Crossfit movements, concepts, and terminology so that you can make the most of each class.

Step 2: We’ll book a FREE TRIAL class for you to come in to have a taste of what Crossfit is all about.

Step 3: You provide us with 3 dates and times to book your foundations sessions. Complete the 3 one-on-one sessions. (We recommend that you complete this within a week).

Step 4: Take advantage of the remainder of the month by attending as many classes with your unlimited membership.

To avoid paying a late cancellation fee of 100% of the foundation session cost, please provide at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations or schedule changes. Failure to show up to a scheduled foundations or personal training session without notice will result in a “no-show” fee of 100% of the foundation session or personal training session.

*Prices do not include HST. ** 3X Per Week Memberships reset every MONDAY. You cannot carry over any unused classes. If you wish to add an additional class to that week, you can get a drop-in rate for $15+HST that will be charged to your account.   • The 10-Class Pack membership will deactivate if you are not active for 3-months after your last attendance. To reactivate your account, there will be a $25.00 processing fee. The 10-class pack will expire completely after 12-months.

We require a minimum of 24-hour notice for changes or cancellations. Late cancellation or “no-shows” will result in the loss of that scheduled session and will be subtracted from your remaining personal training session OR you will be charged the full amount of one personal training session of $85 plus applicable taxes.

FOR ALL CLASSES Self-explanatory.


LISTEN & BE HEARD Listen to your coaches. Always keep the lines of communication open between yourself and the coach. Never interrupt a coach when they are teaching. Ask questions if you’re unsure.

CHECK YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR & BE HUMBLE It’s an absolute truth that there will always be someone stronger, faster and/or quicker, than you. And that’s okay. Train hard. Support your fellow athlete. Always improve yourself.

IGNORANCE & HARASSMENT HAS NO PLACE HERE We don’t put up with ignorance or harassment of any kind. Period.

CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF Sanitize the equipment you use, wipe up chalk marks, sweep up climbing rope fibres, put away your equipment.

NO QUESTION IS STUPID Always ask if you are uncertain. A coach will always be happy to answer your questions.

Auxiliary Crossfit reserves the right to suspend or terminate the participation of a member at any time due to offensive behaviour, disorderly conduct, illegal activities, failure to abide by the rules and expectations, or the breach of any other provision outlined herein.


Signing-In for class is MANDATORY:

  • You must sign up for all classes you attend, including Crossfit Class, Barbell Club, Open-Gym, Skills Class, Yoga, MOGA, and any other class offerings.
  • We cannot guarantee that space will be available for athletes who just show up.
  • If a class if full, you may be required to wait for the next class.

Late policy

  • It is up to the coach’s discretion to allow or not allow an athlete to join a class if they are late. If you are late, you may be asked to wait for the next class.


  • Classes may be reserved up to 5-days in advance.
  • Class cancellations must be done 2-hours prior to class or open-gym to allow other athletes to take advantage of vacant spots.
  • Cancelling/de-registering for any 6am classes must be done at 10 PM the evening before the scheduled class.
  • 10-class packs and 3x a week memberships – if you do not de-register from a class 2 hour prior to the start time (or 10 PM the evening before a 6 AM class), the class will still be deducted from your 10-class pack or your 3x a week membership.

“No-show” policy for Classes

  • As of October 16, 2017, athletes will be automatically charged $5.00 for every missed Crossfit Class or Barbell Club Class. This will be strictly enforced. We hope that this will deter people who do not show up for class from taking spots away from other athletes.

Membership Holds

  • It is the member’s responsibility to inform Auxiliary Crossfit to place a membership on hold for any reason.
  • Membership holds or modifications to holds must be requested with a minimum 48 hours in advance of hold date.
  • Holds must be a minimum of 7 consecutive days or maximum 30 consecutive days.
  • Holds for longer then 30 days are not permitted. We will deactivate your account and you can sign-up with a new membership when you’re ready to rejoin. In the event that you would like to keep your Wodify account active without an active membership, a $5.00/month charge will be charged to your account.

Personal Training & Foundation Program Memberships and Packages:

  • Refunds cannot be issued on services rendered. No refunds on personal training or foundations program packages.
  • To avoid paying additional fees, you must provide a minimum 24-hour notice for all cancellations or schedule changes.
  • Failure to cancel or to show up to a scheduled foundations or personal training session without notice will result in a fee of 100% of the session cost.

Cancellation & Refund Policy on Memberships:

  • Please provide 72-hours (3 full days) notice to cancel your membership or turn off auto-renew BEFORE the renewal date to guarantee that your payment will not be processed.
  • When a membership is cancelled, the remaining days left on the active billing cycle will run its course. At the end of the final membership cycle, the athlete’s Wodify account will de-active automatically.
  • Refund exception for pre-paid memberships including 3-month, 6-month, or annual memberships only: You have up to 10-days at the time of purchase to get a refund. However, if you have attended any class(es) within that 10-day period that will be considered services rendered. As such, you will be charged the equivalent of a drop-in fee for all classes you have attended within the initial 10-day period. As of October 16, 2017 our standard drop-in fee is $20 per class or per open gym session.
  • Foundations Program fees are non-refundable.
  • Refunds cannot be issued on services already rendered.
  • Sales for supplements and all apparel are final.

  • Pre-Authorized Bank Account Withdrawal (may require a void-cheque).

Insufficient Funds/Overdue Payments:

  • An automatic $25.00 charge will be issued on insufficient funds.
  • Overdue payments: A penalty of 2.5% on the unpaid amount will be charged to your account after 15 days of being overdue. Penalty and interest charges on overdue amounts cannot be waived or altered.
  • It is your responsibility to update your payment information through Wodify.

* Full-time Students 15% off  regular month-to-month memberships with a valid student ID & Proof of Registration. This discount expires 2-months after graduation.

* Seniors (60 years of age or older) 20% off regular month-t0-month memberships.

* Family/Spouse $10 Credit towards your monthly memberships for both members so long as both members have a valid monthly membership. If one family member/spouse discontinues, but the other remains, that person will no longer qualify for this credit. 

* Referrals. Refer a new member and get $10 credit towards your membership. For every new referral, you received $10 credit. This does not apply to returning members.

These discounts only apply to month-to-month CrossFit memberships. Athletes who may qualify for more then one discount can only receive one that is greatest in value. Discounts do not apply to Auxiliary Barbell Club Memberships.

We reserve the right to change or cancel any discounts with 30 days notice. We do not apply discounts on past billings or provide credits. Proof of employment or enrolment in an accredited post-secondary institution applies is required.
